Building Solar China Conference
The two-day international conference is a must for all interested in the benefits to merge design and operational experiences in the solar building arena from Europe, Asia and beyond with new business opportunities resulting from China’s strategic support for solar projects within the 12th 5-year plan. The conference focuses on “Smart Solar Building Solutions” and includes presentations along the following main topics:
- Solar Building Markets and Policies
- PV for Buildings
- Solar Building Energy Infrastructure
- Smart Solutions for Solar Buildings
- Solar Building Applications / Examples

'Building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) market in China starts from 2009. The Chinese Ministry of Finance supports BIPV with subsidy programme which includes BIPV application and Golden Sun demonstration project. The development of BIPV should focus on building. I hope more and more architects could understand the PV market. When they start the solar building design, they can fully consider both regulation of PV modules and building aesthetics. I think Building Solar China is a very successful seminar, which provides a good platform for industry peers to exchange their ideas.' |

'The International Union of Architects through the “Architecture and Renewable Energy Sources – ARES Int. WP” is strongly supporting the Building Solar China Conference and Exhibition which has as a main scope to present the aim of the Architect's work in the future to design buildings and urban spaces in such a way that natural resources will be conserved and renewable forms of energy - especially solar, wind, earth and water energy - will be used as extensively as possible, in order to protect the global societies from the thermal effect and the pollution. |
|
BSC opens opportunities for the presentation of new architectural design concepts that will increase awareness of these basic elements, as sources of light and heat; for an acceptance of the renewable energy technology in construction and in the preservation of the global cultural environment towards the saving of energy for the benefit of the societies. UIA-ARES addresses congratulations to WIP and Messe Frankfurt (HK) for the invitation to participate in BSC 2013 and the efforts made for the success of this Conference.' |
