Building Solar China (Guangzhou) – Conference and Exhibition (BSC) opens its doors from 09 to 12 June 2012, in Guangzhou, China
Hong Kong, China, 01 June, 2012. The first edition of Building Solar China (Guangzhou) - Conference and Exhibition (BSC) opens its doors from 09 to 12 June 2012 (Conference 09 -10 June 2012, Exhibition 09 - 12 June 2012) at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou, China. BSC is jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt and WIP and takes place concurrently with the 17th Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), the largest lighting trade fair in Asia, and the 9th Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT).
BSC features integrated solar and smart technology solutions for buildings, and provides a comprehensive platform specifically focused on the latest trends and applications of smart solar building solutions. The event is supported by national and international associations such as UIA - International Union of Architects, SCSB, CRES - Special Committee of Solar Buildings, Chinese Renewable Energy Society, Beijing Qingshang Environmental Art & Architecture Design Institute, Shenzhen Solar Energy Society, Asian Institute of Intelligent Buildings and Hong Kong Association of Energy Engineers.
The Building Solar China Conference - held on the first two days - is focusing on “Smart Solar Building Solutions” with contributions from heavyweight conference speakers, including Han Aixing, Deputy Director-General of Department of Science & Technology and Energy Saving on Buildings of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China (MOHURD), Meng Xiangan, Vice President of China Solar Energy Association and Nikos Fintikakis, Architect, UIA Council Member, Director of UIA-ARES International Work Programme.

BSC takes place concurrently with the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) and the Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) from 09 to 12 June 2012 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou, China. In 2012, GILE and GEBT will have 2,900 exhibitors from 27 countries showcasing their products in 21 halls covering 210,000 sqm, expecting to attract more than 100,000 visitors from around the World.
